I’ve always believed that true and authentic happiness is not something that we ‘reach’, but rather a state of being as a result of moments, experiences and being present. It is a state that we are in control of for ourselves, so your happiness is totally, completely, undeniably, in your hands. Of course, we wouldn’t be human without experiencing other emotions such as sadness, but you are not sadness; you are love and happiness. It’s the way we were born into the world. And you can simply choose to be happy in this moment.Sometimes, I know that the ‘rush’ of life can overwhelm us, blanketing stress over our state of happiness. We’re ‘supposed’ to be busy all the time, ‘supposed’ to be productive, ‘supposed’ to be constantly up on our feet…and we may forget that life is really just simple, and we’re not ‘supposed’ to be anything at all. We’re just here to be who we have been created to be. This is why I have written up a list of things that personally bring my soul joy, so that I can read over them when I sometimes get caught up in the hastiness of life, and bring myself back to joy.
While this post may be my own unique list of things, I am here to inspire you to do the same too. Take some time out today, sit somewhere quiet and peaceful, and really think about all the little things in life that bring you joy. Write them down, and stick this list on a surface that you see frequently. Don’t be afraid to go wild- this is your list. No one will judge you, so make it authentic and make it true for you, even if it sounds crazy! Don’t think too much about each thing either. Once it pops into your head, just simply write it down, and move on. Whenever you feel that you are getting out of touch of your state of happiness, just look at that list, pick something off it, and go do it. You deserve to be happy, you are worthy of happiness, and only when you are in this state of being, can you serve others and spread love and kindness.
So here is my list, in no particular order. Of course there are an endless amount of things that I could have written down, but I chose to focus on the most simple ones which I can incorporate into my daily life and keep it to 50 for now.

When you’re done writing, you really will come to realise that happiness truly comes from living, not necessarily owning things. Don’t be afraid to make changes to your list too if you wish, because we are indeed always changing. Be sure to do at least one or two of the things written on your list every day. You will never ‘not have enough time’, because time is Now. It’s all about prioritising and doing what you know is best for your wellbeing. Go ahead and get started now, and I’m sure you’ll be glad that you did this! Ask yourself, “what truly brings my soul happiness from my heart?”
Have a wonderful day, and be the love that you are♡

Beautifully written blog almost all of the things that make you happy make me happy.
It’s truly just the simple things in life.
It’s so true, I really believe that stress and worry is something we learn. As children, we were so carefree and happy. We would laugh at the small things and not overthink things, we wouldn’t judge others. It’s a wonderful reminder that there is so much to be grateful for.
Yes I love this so much! Thank you for sharing 🙂
Jasmine 🙂 thank you. it is a blessing to read your blog.
Totally agree with you that through we are rush in our lives, it is important for us to do what is truly meaningful to us. Love this article so much as well as your videos
More people should realize that there is never “not enough time” — it really is a matter of sorting out what is important to you in life and making sure that, throughout your days, you make time to do the things you are passionate about. I used to feel overwhelmed with how little time I supposedly had to do what I am most passionate about — write — but after blogging for nearly a year, I found my happiness and fulfillment in life growing exponentially. It’s all because I decided to make writing a main part of my life, and I’m so glad I gave up other time-filler things in my life to allow room for more blogging & writing throughout my days. 😊 Lovely post, Jasmine!
I love this so much! thank you for sharing 🙂
Woah! That is an extensive list! I feel like you could keep adding and writing more. I really resonate with ’15. Giving to others’. It’s just such an amazing feeling when you see someone else happy, and you are the cause of it. Thank you for sharing 🙂
I couldn’t agree more! Thankyou for your lovely comment 🙂
You open my mind 😍
